Orders How do I place an order?
Browse the shop, add pieces to your cart, and proceed to checkout. We accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza) and cash on delivery within Egypt. If you have trouble checking out, message us on WhatsApp and we can take the order manually.
Orders Can I modify or cancel an order after placing it?
In-stock pieces: yes, if you contact us within 2 hours. After that, the order may already be packed. Made-to-order pieces: you can request modifications within 24 hours of placing the order, before the piece enters production.
Orders Do you offer cash on delivery?
Yes, within Egypt. A confirmation code is sent to your phone when your order is ready. You provide that code to the courier and pay in cash. The COD fee is EGP 25.
Shipping How long does delivery take?
Cairo and Giza: 1–2 business days. Alexandria: 2–3. Other governorates: 3–5. International: 5–10 via DHL or FedEx. Made-to-order pieces require 3–6 weeks before dispatch. Full details on the shipping page.
Shipping Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to most countries via DHL or FedEx. Shipping starts at USD 35 and is tracked and insured. Import duties are the customer's responsibility — we cannot understate customs values.
Products Are your pieces waterproof?
316L stainless steel pieces are highly water-resistant and can handle everyday contact with water, including the sea. Copper, gold fill, and silk-strung sibhas should be kept dry between wears. Full material-by-material guidance on the jewellery care page.
Products What does 'Made to Order' mean exactly?
Made-to-order pieces are not held in stock. Your order is the instruction to make the piece. Production takes 3–6 weeks depending on complexity. You can specify custom dimensions, materials, or engraving in the order notes. The wait is part of what the piece is — something was made specifically for you.
Products Can I request a custom piece?
Yes. Use the bridal & custom commissions page for bespoke requests — whether for a wedding, a gift, or a piece you've had in mind. We'll discuss materials, design, and timing before confirming.
Returns What is your return policy?
In-stock pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in original packaging. Made-to-order and custom pieces are not returnable unless defective. Full details on the shipping page.
Returns What if my piece arrives damaged?
Document the damage with photos immediately and contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no cost. Pieces are insured in transit, so this process is straightforward.
Account Do I need an account to order?
No. You can checkout as a guest. An account lets you track orders, save your wishlist, and access order history. We use passwordless login — a link sent to your email — so there's nothing to remember.
Other Where is Chez Rémi based?
Cairo, Egypt. Riham Hamed designs and oversees production here. There is no physical store or showroom at this time, though private viewings can sometimes be arranged — contact us to ask.
