A commission begins with a conversation — the occasion, the person, the feeling. It ends, four to six weeks later, in a matte noir box with your name in the house ledger.

How it works

  1. Consultation

    You describe the occasion, the person, the feeling. We ask the questions that clarify what form the piece should take.

  2. Sketch

    We sketch two or three directions. Not renderings — working drawings, to agree on proportion and material before anything is made.

  3. Quote

    A fixed price, in writing, with the materials, lead time, and our terms. No surprises after.

  4. Crafting

    The piece is made in our Cairo workroom. You are updated when it is complete — before it ships.

  5. Delivery

    Matte noir box, cotton pouch, authenticity card with your name in the house ledger. Ships to your door.
