Editions / The Sibhas
The Sibhas.
The sibha is a keepsake for the hand. We make them to order, in thirty-three or ninety-nine counts, in stainless steel, copper, rosewood, obsidian, and mother-of-pearl. Each is forged slowly, numbered, and signed.

The Materials
Stainless Steel
Cold and precise. Holds its silver-white finish indefinitely. The choice for daily wear — through sea, sweat, and years. Nothing about it changes.
Copper
Warm against the hand. Develops a natural patina with time — not damage, but evidence of use. Each scratch deepens the relationship.
Rosewood
Light, quiet, organic. The grain of each bead is unique. Rosewood warms in the hand faster than metal and carries a faint, resinous note.
Obsidian
Volcanic glass, perfectly black, with a subtle depth that changes in light. Heavier than it looks. Chosen for gravitas.
Mother-of-Pearl
The iridescent inner shell. White-cream with a prismatic surface. The lightest of the materials. Often chosen for Hajj return sibhas.
Every sibha begins with a choice.
Select your material, your count, your separator beads, your imam, your tassel. We number and sign each piece before it leaves the workroom.
